It has been estimated that around 2.5bn coffee cups are thrown away in the UK each year, which works out at over seven million every day. If one person uses the same reusable coffee cup on their daily commute for a year, they could prevent 233 coffee cups going to landfill. We are asking you to make a one small lifestyle change – using a reusable coffee cup will contribute towards protecting our planet. This change may seem minor on its own but if we all get involved, together we will make a big difference.
